Mohammed Forkan founded S.R. Enterprise in Chattogram in 2000 with a simple aim: to put the produce Bangladeshi families grow on the shelves of the Gulf. Over twenty-five years it grew into a group of three companies covering export, trade and air-freight forwarding, with regular shipments to ten Gulf cities.
He built the business on discipline rather than shortcuts: buying close to the growers, grading by hand, packing for the flight and following every consignment until it cleared at the other end. Trust was earned one shipment at a time.
Alhayat Alsaeeda Foodstuff Trading brings that experience to the receiving end. From Al Aweer Market in Dubai it imports from more than 25 countries and supplies wholesalers, retailers, hotels and caterers across the UAE, held to the same standards he set in Chattogram.
In 2022, Bangladesh’s Ministry of Commerce named him a Commercially Important Person (CIP – Export) in recognition of the company’s export performance.
